Ode to the Pinedale Wilderness - Heidi Stro, GY

We swing a mean tool
We’re a rough and tumble bunch
Until that vision---

Shanty stick blue tent
By that one thing on the hill--
Could it be sasquatch?

Well, we all got Aubed
‘Cause all our minds were-a-blown
A real shape shifter!

Oh my, Cow-bear-bush
Illusive and mystify-
ing you blend so well

Will we ever know
Your cowish bushish bear ways?
Oh sacred cow-bear-bush

Forever we pine
For your musk, moo’s, and branches
Send us a signal

Cowbearbush.

"Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there." -Will Rogers

Take nothing for granted. Not one blessed, cool mountain day or one hellish, desert day or one sweaty, stinky, hiking companion. It is all a gift.
